OnePlus may do a hardware refresh of its OnePlus TV that it launched last year in India. According to what has surfaced on Bluetooth SIG listing, OnePlus could be planning to launch a new TV and its associated remote this year.
Not many details are available right now but as spotted by sleuths over at 9to5Google, the upcoming model could come with a MediaTek chipset from 2019, not from 2017.
It has also been spotted that the refreshed TV remote could carry an updated Realtek chip.
The listed name and the model number of the spotted OnePlus TV is “1 +LED TV” and 55UA0A00, hinting at a 55-inch OnePlusTV model. Similarly, the remote controller is listed by the name “1 + Remote Control.”
