Nokia released Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 budget phones
HMD Global just launched two new Nokia branded Android budget phones. These are Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 which are two different phones slightly in terms of specs and features. The former one is a further feature-packed smartphone for fairly higher pricing and the latter one is particularly designed for those who are tight on budget.
The Nokia 3.4 comes with a 6.39-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole in the top left corner and 19.5:9 aspect ratios. Below the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor coupled with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. There are two storage choices 32GB and 64GB (microSD card which can be expanded up to 512GB).
It is a phone with triple rear cameras: 13-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with AI abilities. The phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and it will operate on Android 10 out of the box. The excellent news is that the device is verified to receive an upgrade to Android 11. Further features consist of a fingerprint scanner, dedicated Google Assistant key, Qualcomm aptX audio adaptive support 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port.
The Nokia 3.4 will be available for purchase at EUR 159 which is the price tag for the base variant. It will be sold in Fjord, Charcoal, and Dusk color variants.
The Nokia 2.4 will come with a 6.5-inch HD+ notched display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The preference of processor is MediaTek’s Helio P22 that has been paired with 2GB and 3GB of RAM. The two storage choices on the phone are 32GB and 64GB which are additionally supported by up to 512GB microSD cards.
The dual-camera setup on the phone consists of a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture, an 8-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery to keep the lights on. The phone will come with an Android 10 out of the box but will be upgraded to Android 11 in the future. It additionally offers a fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
The Nokia 2.4 is priced at EUR 119 for the base model with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The color options include Fjord, Charcoal, and Dusk.
