Motorola Razr 5G can endure 100 flips daily for 5 years
Motorola overhauled the reborn Razr phone. The Motorola Razr 5G can endure 100 flips daily for 5 years, it upgraded the chipset and camera, and it as well designed the patented “zero-gap” hinge. That hinge lets the screen to close so firmly that a piece of paper can’t even slide through it.
For improved stability, the hinge is designed out of stainless steel (while the frame is 7000 series aluminum). Motorola’s mechanized tests prove that the hinge can go through 200,000 flips, that’s more than five years of use even if you flip open your phone 100 times daily.

The wireless hardware was difficult to design as four antennas were required for the 5G connectivity, one of the key upgrades over the 2019 model. All of this fits in 85 cm², which’s the same volume as a deck of playing cards, the Razr prioritizes firmness.
