What then is E-Ink display?
One of the benefits of E-Ink displays can be seen over conventional smartphone displays. e.g, LCD which is one of the types of smartphone displays is an emissive display that takes light from the backlight and projects it through the display towards your eyes. However, E-Ink display only imitate traditional ink and paper.
E-Ink display doesn’t use backlight is used but rather ambient light from the environment is reflected from the surface of the display back to our eyes. As such, it cause less strain on the eyes.
