How to Load Airtime on your Phone in Nigeria – in 2023

This is useful when you forget to remember the USSD codes for loading airtime/recharge card in Nigeria. It is useful for subscribers who have more than two networks or a foreigner who just arrived the country. This article covers How to Load Airtime in Nigeria on all networks such as MTN, GLO, AIRTEL and 9MOBILE.

MTN USSD Recharge Code

• The new code to load your 10 digit mtn card is by dialing *3551*PIN NUMBER#. This code would only work for subscribers with 10 digits recharge card.
• For MTN  subscribers with 12 digit recharge pin, use the USSD code *555*1* PIN NUMBER#
• then press Send/ok
• Dial *556# to check to check your accout balance.

Other Means of Recharging on MTN

• Recharge directly from your bank using mobile app or ussd code.
•  Recharge by borrowing Airtime using MTN xtratime code *606#, then follow the on screen prompt. Note that MTN takes 5% from every airtime you borrow.

Airtel USSD Recharge Code

• The Airtel recharge pin is a 16 digit numbers.
• To recharge the Airtel airtime, use the USSD code *126*PIN NUMBER# 
• then press Send/ok
• Dial *123# to check to check your accout balance.

Glo USSD Recharge Code

• The Glo recharge pin is a 15 digit numbers.
• To recharge the Airtel airtime, use the USSD code *123*PIN NUMBER# 
• then press Send/ok
• Dial *124# to check to check your accout balance.

9mobile USSD Recharge Code

• The Glo recharge pin is a 15 digit numbers.
• To recharge the Airtel airtime, use the USSD code *222*PIN NUMBER# 
• then press Send/ok
• Dial *223# to check to check your accout balance.
• To recharge for a friend from your phone, dial *222*PIN*RECEIVER’SNUMBER#.
