Also, the Company wrote on the community forum post, that by October 13th, 100% of the stated countries will receive the Android 10 update, However, Indians are going to receive the update by 29th, October 2020.
Nokia 3.1 on the other hand has started receiving the Android 10 update as the company announced. It was stated in the official post that the first wave of the countries that receive the latest update includes Bangladesh, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, the Philippines, Uzbekistan. Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine, Georgia. They also noted that 10% of these approved markets have started receiving the update and 50% will receive by10th of October. Nokia 3.1 is an Android One phone and being the member of this program unlocks many benefits, including the faster software upgrades. But perhaps this isn’t the case this time. The Android software version coming to Nokia 3.1 is still a year-old version and there it is currently unpredictable when the company plans to bring the latest Android 11 update to it.
The Android 10 as well brings several new features like Smart Reply, Dark theme, intuitive gestures, more control on privacy and security. It also brings Focus Mode, Sound Amplifier, among others.
Android 11 roadmap was also shared in One of the Nokia tweets from last month. The tweet mentioned the name of the Nokia phones with their timeframe of receiving the latest Android OS version. The list also includes other Nokia Android One phones, but The company later removed the tweet from their page.
