HMD worldwide has firmly launched two new smartphones Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 in India. The first one is a mid-range phone with quad rear cameras as it’s emphasize. The second phone is an entry-level contribution for people on a low budget or don’t want to spend much on new device.
The Nokia 5.3 is a serrated display smartphone with a 6.55-inch HD+ panel. It has a dotted notch placed close to the top. Below the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor matching with 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB of RAM. There are in fact three RAM choices but a solitary 64GB onboard storage option. Another advantage is that it supports microSD cards up to 512GB.
It has a circular camera module at the back panel that features an overall of four camera sensors. These consist of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone is now available for pre-booking in India with sales starting September 1st.
Nokia C3 is a low budget smartphone with a 5.99-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Below the hood, it has the Unisoc SC9863A processor paired with 2GB and 3GB of RAM. The two RAM selections are offered with 16GB and 32GB onboard storage options. It allows microSD cards to support up to 128GB.
The rear camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.8 aperture along with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. And it is powered by a 3,040mAh battery with 5W charging support.
What makes it more even interesting is that even being an entry-level smartphone, it will operate on the latest Android 10 out of the box. Further significant features include a fingerprint scanner, Fm radio and, 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for the price availability, the Nokia C3 will be presented for INR 7,499 and INR 8,999 for 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB options correspondingly. Selling will commence on September 17th through offline and online shopping channels.
