Oppo launches K7x with 6GB RAM, Dimensity 720 and 30W fast charging
The Oppo K7x is a mid-range 5G smartphone launched in China. It is somewhat an upgrade version to the Oppo K7 which was launched 3 months ago. The K7 is also a 5G capable phone but with the latest model, it offers several features and specifications that are upgrade over the K7 which was launched earlier.
The Oppo K7x comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) punch-hole LTPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a max brightness of 600 units, 405ppi pixel density, and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. Below the cover, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor octa-core chip that can clock at 2.0GHz. It is 5G-compatible and arrives with ARM NATT MC3 GPU.
The phone is offered in a single design of 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB aboard UFS 2.1 storage. The quad-camera system on the back consists of a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 hole, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 hole, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 hole, and the front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 hole.
The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging. On the software frontage, it will be operating on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10. Further features are a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Oppo K7x will be available for purchase at about $223 for the sole 6GB/128GB model. It will begin sale from November 11 with and the color offered is Black Shadow and Blue Mirror.
When it will begin sale worldwide has not yet been revealed yet.
