Redmi is planning to unveil its latest K-series phone, and it probably going to be the Redmi K40. Few leaks have previously exposed little key specs on the new smartphone and this time around a new tip has surfaced on Weibo that shows more details to our understanding.
Based on reports from tipster Digital Chat Station, the K40 will come with an OLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate. The tipster also confirms that the phone will feature a sole hole-punch for the selfies camera.

Before it has been hinted that the phone will support a 33W fast-charging and will be a 5G-capable phone. There are also rumors that alleged the Pro option of the phone will operate on a Snapdragon 875 chipset. On the other hand, the ordinary Redmi K40 is likely to arrive filled with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor together with 5G connectivity support.
Note that the Redmi K30 previously released received much approval from the consumers. It also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate however has an IPS LCD panel and double punch-holes. Redmi is definitely gaming up in an aggressively growing smartphone market with its latest OLED on the K40.
Presently, the launch date and when it will be available for purchase have not been revealed. We’ll keep you updated as soon as there are more details concerning the K40.
