AI for Development (AI4Dev) is a test which goal is to that aims to discover greater ideas in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and make use of its impact on 4 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Africa and Arab countries.
AI4Dev challenge is arranged by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and assisted by NilePreneurs, in corporation with UN Agencies and some local and international institutes.
Selection Principles
Thinking of what you have to do to be a part of the change and be recognized by ITU as a promising innovator in the African and Arab Countries?
- Problem Consequence: Do you share the same thought to at least one of the four stated tracks of SDGs and relate to the country of submission?
- Solution Necessity: Do you have products required immediately to impact weak groups and receivers?
- Solution Scalability: Is the answer you are presenting scalable with minimum funds required in new geo-locations?
- Team Skills: Are you a different team of at least 2 with at least 1 female member, and have the business and technical talents required to progress with your proposal? No team, Click here to join with a team.
- Utilization of AI: Is AI the middle of your proposal and is being used ingeniously as a vital piece of the solution?
- Data Achievement: Is the data designed enough to maintain your model?
Judges will assess the applicants’ thoughts and models, select them, and pick the winners based on the evaluating criteria that take into reflection factors like the setback necessity and team proficiencies.
Prizes to be Won
If you can productively offer a way out for one of our besieged SDGs, your proposal will be chosen to get mentorship and teaching from professionals in the field, guidance in developing prototypes and experience while presenting to industry professionals, in the presence of legislative body from UN, and global organizations.
