Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G to Come with Snapdragon 865 SoC
Samsung is rumored to launch the 5G version of its Galaxy Z Flip phone at its alleged August 5 event where it will also introduce the new Galaxy Note. Rumors have so far told very little about this clamshell phone, that’s because of the impression we have about it that it is just the 5G addition. But note that Snapdragon 855 Plus processor that the standard Galaxy Z Flip comes with does not have a 5G modem. So, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G would include a chipset that has 5G modem and Geekbench has confirmed that this is going to be Snapdragon 865 processor.

The Geekbench listing shows the model number of the device that is SM-F707B and it is carrying an 8GB RAM. The phone runs Android 10 and may debut with Samsung’s upcoming OneUI 2.5 on the top. The listing also states that the processor has a base frequency of 1.80GHz.
The other things that have leaked so far talk only about the color variant in which the device would launch. It is tipped that the Galaxy Z Flip will come in Brown color as well, in addition to the existing Purple and Black colors in which the standard Galaxy Z Flip comes.
We still have a long way to learn more about the device since the slated launch is quite far from now. Let’s see what other details will come as we proceed further.
